Walmart and Sam’s Club are lowering prices on thousands of items this summer, including groceries and household essentials.
The move expands Walmart’s Rollback program and includes discounts on more than 250 items at Sam’s Club, highlighting competition for budget-conscious consumers facing higher living costs. The discounts come as many Ohio shoppers continue to look for ways to stretch grocery budgets amid higher prices.

Walmart discounts hundreds of grocery items for summer savings
In a July 6 press release, Walmart said the discounts focus on groceries, grilling items and other summer staples to help shoppers save. Walmart executive Julie Barber said the company is lowering prices on popular summer items, including food, beverages, grills, pools and clothing.

Walmart has 130 Supercenters in Ohio and another 101 in Kentucky, according to the company.
Meanwhile, Sam’s Club has 27 locations in the state, including two in Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. Additionally, there is a warehouse in Florence, Kentucky, in the Greater Cincinnati area.
