Area student-athletes throughout Guernsey, Muskingum and Noble counties tuned up for the rapidly approaching OHSAA postseason on area baseball and softball diamonds, along with strong efforts on the track.
We’ve narrowed down the list and selected our nominees for our Daily Jeffersonian Spring Athlete of the Week for action from May 4 to May 9 during a busy week of high school spring sports season.
Help us celebrate these hard-working local student-athletes by taking time to cast your vote for your choice for the Daily Jeffersonian Spring Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of May 4-May 9.
High school sports fans can vote in this week’s poll to pick their top performance. The poll runs until 5 p.m. Friday, May 15.
Winners will be announced on The Daily Jeffersonian website.
Nominations for Athlete of the Week can be sent to KSutton1@gannett.com by noon Sunday. Please include the athlete’s name, school and sport and a little about their accomplishment that week.
