The Columbus Air Show Presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro will take to the skies June 19-21 at Rickenbacker International Airport, and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are ready to take off!
The Thunderbirds arrived in Columbus on June 17, ahead of the air show, and got ready for action. They performed survey flight maneuvers in F-16 Fighting Falcons.
The U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team and Thunderbirds highlight the air show lineup, while the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds will be the first international team to ever perform at the show.
Gates will open at 1 p.m. June 19-20, with performances beginning at 3:30 p.m. At dusk, the show will go out with a bang, as a pyrotechnics and fireworks display lights up the night. Gates will close at 9 p.m.
The ScottsMiracle-Gro Aviation Showcase, a curated collection of modern and historic aircraft representing all periods of U.S. military aviation, will be another attraction at the air show. For a full lineup of things to do during the weekend, go to columbusairshow.com/attractions.
Gates open at 9 a.m. on June 21, and performances will go on from noon until 4 p.m. Parking must be purchased in advance. Visit columbusairshow.com for tickets and other details.
