CHILLICOTHE — Yet another threat has been issued to Huntington Local Schools, according to the district’s Facebook on April 7.
This is now the tenth threat the school has received since Jan. 19.
The district said law enforcement and K-9 units cleared the campus and the school will be in session on a normal schedule.
The Ross County Sheriff’s Office announced on Feb. 25 that an increased law enforcement and public safety presence in and around all Ross County schools would be maintained following multiple bomb threats at Huntington Local Schools.
While all of these threats have been investigated and found non-credible, the sheriff requested the assistance of the F.B.I early on in the investigation.
The Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers has offered a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
