Stark-based Northeast Professional Caregivers announces data breach

JACKSON TWP. – Northeast Professional Caregivers, 4580 Stephen Circle NW, has had a data breach that may affect the personal health information of people who received or inquired about its healthcare services.

On April 23, the company discovered unauthorized access to company email accounts, which contained personal details such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and dates of birth, but no financial information was involved. Current and potential patients’ data were affected, but there is no evidence that any information was misused, according to a company news release.
