Sheetz is opening a new location in Wadsworth next week, the company announced May 15.
The new store, located at 820 High Street, will open May 22 at 8 a.m. There will be a grand opening ceremony starting at 9 a.m. where customers have a chance win multiple prizes including free Sheetz for a year (value of $2,500 in a Sheetz gift card).
Customers will also receive free self-serve coffee and soda for the entire day, officials announced.
Sheetz is donating $2,500 to both the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and the Special Olympics of Ohio to celebrate the opening of its next store. Customers who attend the grand opening are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to the foodbank, and those that do will receive a Sheetz branded thermal bag while supplies last from 9 to 11 a.m.
Sheetz, which operates more than 770 store locations across Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland, was recently named to Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. This marks the 10th straight year Sheetz has been honored with this distinction, the company announced.
All Sheetz locations are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
