Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Sean Clifford, a former St. Xavier High School Bombers standout, shared a photo via Instagram of his newborn son, Brooks Liam Clifford.
Clifford is listed as a third-team quarterback on the Bengals’ depth chart. He was excused from a practice last week.
Clifford joined the Bengals’ practice squad in September 2025.
Signed as a college free agent by Green Bay in 2023, Clifford spent his rookie season on the Packers’ active roster, and the 2024 season on their practice squad.
Clifford was a three-time all-Big Ten honorable mention selection at Penn State.
Clifford led St. X to a Division I state championship as a senior in 2016.
Clifford’s younger brother, Liam, signed July 30 with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free-agent receiver.
