NEWCOMERSTOWN ‒ Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in an early morning robbery July 14 at a gas station and convivence store on Adena Drive.

The man did not brandish a weapon, but had his hands in his pockets the whole time, the sheriff said.

Deputies searched for the suspect in cruisers and on foot, using a K-9 unit and drones, Campbell said. He has not been located.

The Newcomerstown Police Department did not have any officers on duty at the time, so the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office was covering the community.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 330-339-7743.
