Electricity to the Polaris Fashion Place has been restored after an outage forced the shopping center to temporarily shutter for the day, according to an AEP outage map.
An AEP outage map showed that the outage was reported just before 1 p.m. Initially, the AEP map said that power would be restored at around 7:30 p.m. As of 8:45 p.m., the outage was ongoing, but shortly before 10 p.m. power had been restored.
The outage spanned from Polaris Fashion Place to the northwest, just past the intersection of Columbus Pike and East Powell Road.
The mall was just recently sold to O’Connor Capital Partners, an international firm, by previous owner and Columbus-based Washington Prime Group.
