Why is there a road closure on I-75?
The resurfacing of the Lockland Split is part of a multimillion-dollar project.
Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will repair the bridge that travels northbound I-75 over Mill Creek, a railroad, Benson Street and Shepherd Avenue in Arlington Heights, Reading and Lockland.
The project, which includes the resurfacing, is scheduled to be completed by this fall.
John R. Jurgensen Co. was awarded a contract for approximately $12.6 million to complete the project, according to the Department of Transportation.
