One person was killed and two more injured after gunfire broke out in Cheviot on Saturday, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 3600 block of Glenmore Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. June 27 for a shooting, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Three adult men were injured in the shooting, the sheriff’s office told Enquirer media partner Fox19. All three were transported to local hospitals, where one died from their injuries and two were still being treated as of Saturday night.
The sheriff’s office did not release any additional details about the victims.
No suspect is in custody, according to the sheriff’s office.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office tip line at 513-586-5533.
Cheviot police asked the sheriff’s office to handle the shooting investigation. Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Kyla Woods previously told The Enquirer the department regularly assists with investigations, mostly due to capacity.
