CAMBRIDGE − OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center has welcomed Dr. Vijay Kudithipudi, a board-certified radiation oncologist, to its medical staff.
According to an announcement, Kudithipudi specializes in advanced radiation treatments for various types of cancer, including stereotactic radiation, radiosurgery and high-dose-rate brachytherapy.
An Ohio native, he earned his doctor of medicine degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2012 and completed his residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Since 2017, he has worked as a general radiation oncologist in central Ohio, serving patients in Columbus and Marion.
“I am looking forward to bringing my practice to the Cambridge area to serve patients close to home,” Kudithipudi said. “Working alongside our surgeons, medical oncologists and other specialists, I’m committed to delivering precise, personalized radiation treatments that best meet each patient’s needs.”
Wendy Elliott, Southeastern Medical Center president, expressed enthusiasm about Kudithipudi joining the team.
“His deep Ohio roots and expertise in cutting-edge radiation techniques strengthen our team’s ability to provide comprehensive, coordinated cancer care right here in Cambridge,” Elliott said.
