DAYTON —Wadsworth (24-2) and Cincinnati Princeton (22-4) tip off at 6 p.m. March 12 at the UD Arena at University of Dayton in an OHSAA Division I girls basketball state semifinal.
Either Pickerington Central (23-3) or Fairmont (26-0) awaits the winner in a final to be played at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at UD Arena.

We are live courtside at UD Arena on the campus of the University of Dayton. The Division I state semifinal between Wadsworth and Cincinnati Princeton will tip on schedule at 6 p.m. Starting lineups are intact for both teams.

Wadsworth’s OHSAA tournament history
This is Wadsworth’s first trip to the state final four since 2018, but the Grizzlies have a long history of success in girls basketball. Wadsworth has two state titles in its history, winning it all in 1997 and 2016. Led by coach Andrew Booth, the Grizzlies have secured 13 district championships.
Cincinnati Princeton’s OHSAA tournament history
Princeton is the defending Division I state runner-up, having lost 47-44 to Pickerington Central in last year’s title game. The Vikings are making their fifth trip to the state final four. Princeton won state titles in 1987, 2014 and 2023.

Lauren Decker is the only Wadsworth player to average double figures in scoring with 15.1 points. Decker also averages 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.7 assists.
