Ohio State has gotten a commitment from a four-star defensive lineman for its 2026 recruiting class.
Damari Simeon, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound tackle from St. Augustine Prep in Richland, New Jersey, is the 18th commitment in OSU’s upcoming class. Significantly, he is only the second defensive lineman, joining fellow four-star defensive end Khary Wilder.
Simeon is Ohio State’s second commitment of the week. Three-star offensive tackle Aaron Thomas pledged to the Buckeyes on June 25.
Simeon is ranked as the No. 201 prospect and 26th-best defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite rankings. Simeon picked the Buckeyes over Michigan, Texas and Penn State, among others.
