The Ohio State Buckeyes are 7-0 and are the unquestionable No. 1 team in the land heading into a bye week. The Bucks walked into Camp Randall and made easy work of a depleted Wisconsin team that couldn’t find its footing offensively. Matt Patrica’s defense pitched a shutout, holding the Badgers scoreless for a second week in a row.
The Buckeyes decided to open things up and let Julian Sayin sling it, and sling it he did. Saying would complete 36 or 42 passes for a career high 394 yards and another four touchdowns. Defenses continue to try to take Jeremiah Smith out of games, but in reality, it only opens things up more for Carnell Tate, who caught another six balls for 111 yards and two scores, including an acrobatic catch in the endzone early in the first quarter. And Jeremiah Smith still had nearly 100 yards himself. There are just too many weapons on this Ohio State offense.
After a dominating performance, social media had some excellent thoughts and responses. Let’s take a look at some of the best.
