Ohio Stadium one of toughest places to play in 'College Football 27'

EA Sports is slowly releasing some details of ‘College Football 27,’ and we’re here to absorb and redirect for you. The third iteration of the popular franchise that finally got rebooted a couple of years ago, thanks to Name, Image and Likeness, is set to be released July 9 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with early access beginning July 2 for MVP Bundle owners and July 6 for players who are lucky enough to purchase the Deluxe Edition.

We’ve already heard about one of Ohio State’s stars getting the highest rating possible at launch for the first time since the game came back, and we also know what the Buckeyes’ ranking is in the game. However, the game makers also put a label on how hard it is to go to the banks of the Olentangy to play in the game this year, tabbing Ohio Stadium as the No. 2 hardest place to play behind LSU’s Tiger Stadium.

It’s a one-place rise from ‘College Football 26,’ when the ‘Shoe was ranked as the No. 3 place to play behind Tiger Stadium and Penn State’s Beaver Stadium. With the Nittany Lions losing three games in Happy Valley last year, it makes sense for the drop by PSU.
