Colorful northern lights appeared in Ohio skies for a second night.
The northern lights were visible in states around the country due to geomagnetic storming, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center.
The chance to see the northern lights brought many central Ohio residents outside on Nov. 12, and some were able to see the colorful display.
Northern lights may be visible in Ohio for a third night
The NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center says geomagnetic storming will continue through Nov. 13. Its aurora forecast map shows parts of Ohio could again see northern lights if skies are clear.
The National Weather Service predicts partly cloudy skies for the night of Nov. 13.
