An unattended suitcase briefly caused alarm near the Atrium Two office building, according to Cincinnati fire officials.
Firefighters were dispatched to the Downtown office building on East Fourth Street around 12:45 p.m. June 7 for a report of a suspicious item, said fire department spokeswoman Lindsay Lomax-Haegele.
The suspicious item in question was an unattended suitcase by a light pole, Lomax-Haegele said.
A Cincinnati police K9 cleared the suitcase and confirmed it was unattended and not a threat.
Traffic was briefly shut down around the area as emergency personnel responded.
