Motorcyclist, 23, killed after driving off road in Delaware County, Highway Patrol says

A motorcyclist died in Delaware County after driving off the road, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Rocco J. Torio, 23, of Delaware, was riding a Honda motorcylce north on Panhandle Road north of Hudson Road at 6:31 a.m. Aug. 9 when he drove off the left side of the road, the highway patrol said in a news release.

Torio’s motorcycle hit a utility pole support wire and a rock, the highway patrol said. He died at the secene, north of Delaware.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Torio was wearing a helmet, the highway patrol said.
