Most of northern Ohio under freeze warning through Monday morning

Keep an eye out on outdoor plants and outside plumbing for the next couple evenings.

Much of northern Ohio is under a freeze warning, according to the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect from 11 p.m. tonight through 11 a.m. Monday morning.

Sub-freezing temperatures as cold as the lower 20s are expected, according to the National Weather Service. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

According to the National Weather service, today’s high temperatures are expected to be around 49 degrees, with a low of 31 degrees. Tomorrow’s high Monday is expected to be 44 degrees, with a low of 27 degrees.

Warmer temperatures are expected to return Wednesday, with an expected high of around 70 degrees and a low of 46 degrees.
