The 2020 murder of Morgan Fox by her FedEx co-worker will be examined on NBC’s “Dateline” news program on May 8, including an interview with the convicted killer.
A press release for the TV show teases at new revelations in the Stark County case.
“When 29-year-old single mom Morgan Fox is murdered in her Ohio driveway, detectives look to the FedEx warehouse where she works for answers,” the release said. “Did complaints about harassment cause one of her co-workers to seek retaliation? Was someone in Morgan’s life harboring a secret obsession?”
Fox was shot and killed on an October morning, as she got into her vehicle, parked at her Plain Township home. Jason McDermitt was later found guilty of her death in Stark County Common Pleas Court and sentenced to life in prison.
The two-hour “Dateline” episode “Breaking Point” is reported by Josh Mankiewicz.
“The convicted murderer speaks out for the first time,” the news release says.
Also featured will be interviews with Fox’s family and co-workers.
“Breaking Point” will air at 9 p.m. on May 8.
“Dateline NBC” is in its 34th season and anchored by Lester Holt. The news magazine program also can be viewed on channels on Roku, YouTube, Samsung TV Plus, Tubi and Pluto TV.
