Green Bay Packers linebacker Micah Parsons slammed the New York Giants during a discussion of their trade with the Cincinnati Bengals of defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence for the 10th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
“Yeah, I mean, at this point, are we really surprised about the Giants and their track record? I mean, they just let player after player go,” Parsons told B/R Gridiron. “Greatness after greatness. I mean, their track record, I don’t know why they want draft picks. They’re not very great with draft picks either. They just let great players go. … Who have they really hit on in the last four or five years? That’s the reason why their track record is their record. I don’t get it, bro.”
Parsons shared his opinion about Fernando Mendoza and the Hoosiers during IU’s College Football Playoff championship game win against the Miami Hurricanes by saying he “better never hear a comparison to Joe Burrow and that LSU team to this Indiana unit.”
In 2024, Parsons tweeted that Burrow should win the NFL MVP award if Cincinnati made the playoffs. The Bengals did not reach the postseason, and the Bills’ Josh Allen was named MVP.
In 2022, Parsons said Burrow was not among the NFL’s top six QBs, and added that there were “some games like he’s not there.”
