He was taken by New Philadelphia EMS to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover where he was pronounced dead, the patrol said.

The patrol said alcohol and drugs appear to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.

The patrol also was assisted by the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, New Philadelphia Fire Department, Smith Ambulance, Tuscarawas County Coroner’s Office and Country Side Towing.
