Cat parents, you and your feline companions no longer have to watch baseball from home as the Louisville Bats will be hosting both humans and cats.
For the first time, the Louisville Bats will be hosting “Purr at the Park” May 26 at Louisville Slugger Field.
Advance human tickets are $10 — $13 if purchased on the day of — while cat tickets are $3, with the proceeds benefitting the Kentucky Humane Society.
Both cats and humans are required to have a ticket. However, children ages 2 and younger are not required to have a ticket if they will not be utilizing a seat.
Owners will be required to sign a waiver stating that their cat’s vaccinations are up to date. Also, cats must either be on a leash, in a carrier or in a stroller at all times while at the park.
The Bats will face off against St. Paul Saints at 6:35 p.m. Tickets for the game can be found on the league’s site here.
