CHILLICOTHE— After closing the store on High Street in 2022 after 25 years in town, Scioto Valley Sweepers is back in town, this time serving people out of Central Center.
Owner Bruce Brenning calls the store “old school” as it specializes in selling and repairing quality vacuums that can last a lifetime. Brenning said he won’t sell an appliance that he can’t get parts for to fix, so that customers know they can always come back if there is an issue.

“It’s all stuff that actually lasts, and if it needs repaired, then I can fix it,” said Brenning of the items in his store.
The business also does vacuum maintenance for commercial and private customers who want to keep their vacuum running like new for years.
Breening has been in the vacuum business for over 25 years and currently owns shops in Jackson and Chillicothe. he said he is happy to be back in town serving customers in the area.
You can visit Scioto Valley Sweepers at 10 Central Center in Chillicothe. Hours for the store are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
