Another week of school is over and the Friday lights for Week 2 of high school football in Cincinnati have been flipped on.

Week 2 brings conference play that runs until Week 10 for the Greater Miami Conference and Eastern Cincinnati Conference. Taft visits Alter after beating the Knights twice last season, Wyoming meets Purcell Marian for the first time since 2008 and Elder also hosts Covington Catholic to highlight some of the area’s other top contests.

The USA Today Network Ohio High School Football Super 25 poll is voted on by a panel of sports writers and editors from across Ohio. The poll ranks the top 25 teams in Ohio, regardless of division.

Just like in the preseason poll, Moeller took the No. 1 spot in the state and Anderson also appeared in the top five overall. Overall, Cincinnati had five teams in the rankings.
