A 2005 graduate of Lebanon High School, the district says Miller returned home in 2012 to dedicate herself to teaching in her community.

“As both a teacher and a coach, she made a profound impact, forming deep connections with students, especially at Lebanon Junior High School,” district officials said. “We encourage our community to lean on one another and extend extra grace, patience, and compassion in the days ahead.”

Miller coached the middle school’s girls’ basketball and softball teams, according to Enquirer media partner Fox 19.

The district is offering in-person counseling for students and families at Lebanon High School on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, from 12 to 2 p.m. Crisis services are also available by calling 513-881-7180.

Miller’s death comes just days after Princeton City Schools announced the deaths of two of its educators in the past week.

Information about service and memorial arrangements for Miller were not immediately available.
