For those who feel Kings Island is too pricey, the park just announced a way to get more out of a season pass purchase—access to all the Six Flags parks.
A year ago, Six Flags and Cedar Fair, which owned Kings Island and Cedar Point, merged to form the new Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. To celebrate the first anniversary of that merger, Kings Island announced Thursday, July 24, that its 2026 season pass will include unlimited access to more than 40 Six Flags parks for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026.
“This massive benefit is one that only Six Flags Entertainment can provide with more than 40 amusement, water and animal parks spanning three countries,” said Christian Dieckmann, chief commercial officer for Six Flags. “A 2026 Six Flags Season Pass is your international passport to fun with dynamic family entertainment, refreshing thrills and the world’s most exhilarating roller coasters.”

What’s included in a Kings Island season pass?
The Kings Island Gold Pass gives guests season-long access to Kings Island, Soak City Water Park and free general parking. It includes additional benefits like in-park discounts on food and merchandise, exclusive bring-a-friend-for-free ticket offers and access to the park’s annual Halloween Haunt and WinterFest events.
Through the MVP sale, Kings Island guests will have access to several Six Flags Entertainment parks within driving distance, including Cedar Point in Sandusky, Six Flags Great America near Chicago and Six Flags St. Louis.
The MVP Sale will be available online only from July 31 through Sept. 1. After the sale, all 2026 Gold and Prestige passholders will need to purchase the All Park Passport add-on to gain access to all Six Flags Entertainment parks. Some restrictions apply.

How much do season passes to Kings Island cost?
At Kings Island, a silver pass costs $120, a gold pass is $155 and the prestige pass is $375.
The silver pass includes unlimited admission and free parking through Labor Day and excludes Halloween Haunt and Winterfest.
The gold pass extends parking and admission for the whole season, and it includes those two special events. Likewise, the prestige pass extends that to include preferred parking, VIP lounge access and other exclusive perks.
