Katherine Hallahan claims 2026 women's Flying Pig Marathon crown

Cincinnati native and 2011 Indian Hill graduate Katherine Hallahan has won the 2026 Flying Pig Marathon in 2:48:43.

Hallahan previously took second place in the 2023 race, finishing behind three-time champion Caitlin Keen. She also won the 2023 Queen Bee Half Marathon. According to her World Athletics profile, her personal best is 2:46:15, run at the 2025 Indianapolis Monumental Marathon.

She runs for Cincinnatus Elite, giving the club its first win in the women’s half-marathon. Her teammate, Daniella Townsend, took second place for the second year in a row.

Hallahan is a University of Cincinnati graduate, earning a master’s degree in speech-language pathology in 2017.
