Joe Flacco’s Pro Bowl nod more funny proof Bengals ripped off Browns

It’s no secret the Cincinnati Bengals ripped off the Cleveland Browns when they traded for Joe Flacco mid-season.

The Browns, who went on to fire a head coach and host a mildly embarrassing coaching search this offseason, gave away Flacco for cheap. The veteran went on to keep the Bengals alive until Joe Burrow’s return.

It’s a hilarious turn of events when looking at the Flacco trade for the Bengals and Browns. The Pro Bowl is a mess that has resorted to inviting backups. Burrow himself, presumably, passed on the chance, if asked.

But the Bengals can now officially brag that they traded a fifth-round draft pick for a Pro Bowl quarterback, so there’s that.
