It's wild Rep. Joyce Beatty wasted time schooling critic while people are starving | Letter

Rep. Joyce Beatty has lost the plot

Joyce Beatty seems to take greater issue with a letter to the editor about her lack of constituent services than she does about her ongoing support for the genocide currently happening in Gaza.

With multiple aid agencies warning of an imminent famine due to the blockade of humanitarian assistance by Israel, she seems content to cash in on tens of thousands from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee rather than listening to her constituents and demanding an immediate ceasefire.I think she should be less worried about her commitment to answering webforms and more concerned that her legacy will be forever be tarnished by her ongoing support for the mass starvation of an entire population.

The only letter to the editor I’d like to read from her going forward is the one where she announces her retirement because she’s clearly lost the plot.

Americans’ right to know

In the 1970’s Americans had the right to know if their President was a crook. He was. Now Americans  have a right to know if their President is a pedophile.

Tell your Congressperson to use their influence to make sure that that truth comes out.

We have the right to know.

Richard D. Back, New Albany

Thank you!

I am writing to publicly thank the City of Columbus for revamping the Goodale Park tennis courts and for converting a couple of the tennis courts to pickleball courts.

They look great with the green and blue colors.

The crews that did the work did a wonderful job. I think that some trees had to be cut down or trimmed, too. Well done!

Thank you.

Grocery stores need to cut it out

Attention all grocery stores:  Stop it!

Stop raising prices!  Stop all the gimmicks you are running so that customers must ‘qualify’ for special low prices.

Everyone who walks into your stores should be able to receive the lowest price on all products.

No digital coupons, no special memberships should be required.  You are forcing us to work for the ‘privilege’ of spending our money in your businesses.

Just be satisfied that we are there.  And that we keep coming back.  Life today is difficult enough.

Shopping should be easy, not complicated.
