Iron Grill Barbeque & Brew, located at 5295 N. High St., has closed permanently as of March 30. A sign posted in the front entrance to the restaurant dated March 29 said that would be the business’ last day of operation.
A recorded message at the restaurant’s phone number, reached on April 1, said: “Effective Monday, March 30, we have closed our business.” Both announcements thanked customers for their support over the years.

Iron Grill served breakfast, burgers and pizza alongside traditional barbecue favorites. The business did not provide a reason for the closure.
According to records from the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the restaurant began operating under its current name in 2012 after a change in ownership. Before that, from 2001-2012, it was the Pig Iron BBQ restaurant. The prominent pig remained out front when the business changed hands.
