If there was any doubt before, there is none now. The Ohio State basketball team is firmly in the NCAA Tournament field. The No. 8 seed Buckeyes gained a bit of revenge by taking down Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament after falling to the Hawkeyes two weeks ago.
The prize for Ohio State? No. 1 seed Michigan. The archrival Wolverines have been one of the top teams in the nation this season and have spent several weeks ranked No. 1 nationally. Twice this season, the Buckeyes have had a chance to take Michigan down, and twice they have failed to do so. OSU stayed close in the first game, but the Maize and Blue embarrassed the Buckeyes on their home court the second time around. But this is March, and anything can happen.
