The 98th annual Ohio High School Athletic Association baseball state tournament begins today. The OHSAA state tournament is scheduled to run through Sunday, June 14.
Stark County will be represented by two teams — North Canton Hoover in Division II and Lake Center Christian in Division VI. Lake Center was the state runner-up a year ago, while Hoover is in its first state final four trip since 1999.
We’ll have scores throughout the weekend as the state semifinals will be played at 7 17 Credit Union Park (formerly Canal Park) in Akron and Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton. All state finals are scheduled for Akron.
