The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League will once again host the 2025 GLSCL All-Star and Prospect Showcase at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio. The event will take place on July 22.
The Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, founded in 1987, is a wood-bat league certified by the NCAA and partially funded by Major League Baseball.
The Hamilton Joes are defending league champions and have won three of the last four championships. They will have 10 players participating: Miguel Correa Jr. (Central Michigan), Brett Denby (Wright State), Jaxson Christ (Lake Erie), Christopher Roa (Miami), Michael Bilo (George Mason/Mason High School), Carson Brower (Bellarmine), Dean Brown (Central Michigan, Lakota East), Marc Iozzo (Miami), Aidyn Coffey (Stony Brook) and Michael Murphy (Xavier, Mason High School).
The all-stars were selected into the three different categories of starter, all-star and prospect. The group of prospects is available as replacements in case of an injury, illness or unforeseen unavailability.
All of the position players and project pitchers selected are invited to participate in a showcase on the turf field at Prasco Park. The showcase will begin at 2 p.m. where the players will be evaluated by major league scouts in attendance.
The all-star game’s first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on the main field at Prasco Park. The free public event will include a host of food trucks as part of the “Taste of Prasco” event.
