JACKSON TWP. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has closed its sole Stark County location at 5421 Whipple Ave. NW.
The franchise took down signage and shuttered its doors with little notice.
The restaurant opened in 2020, part of the national Freddy’s chain, known for its combination of steakburgers, cheese curds, shoestring fries and frozen custard flavors.
A call to Freddy’s at the Green location provided no additional information on the Jackson Township location’s closing.
The corporate offices did not respond to a request for additional information.
Customers are encouraged to visit the location at 863 Arlington Ridge E in Green, and all existing gift cards may be used at that location.
