Trenton Irwin, who played six NFL seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals, announced his engagement via Instagram.
“Mannn life moving with my favorite people!” Irwin posted. “My girl said yes to this goofy life. Pumped on what’s to come!”
Irwin played in 41 games for the Bengals from 2019 to 2024. Since the Bengals waived him in December 2024, he’s played for the practice squads of the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets, and he was among the Jacksonville Jaguars’ final roster cuts before the 2025 season.
In 2022, Irwin told Matthew Hatchette and former Bengals receiver Terrell Owens of the “Getcha Popcorn Ready with T.O. & Hatch” podcast that Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made it clear with his teammates he did not like the “Why not us?” mantra during the team’s Super Bowl run that season.
