Gobble gobble, my pretty birds.

You know the old saying: If there’s frost on the pumpkin, it’s time for The Enquirer’s 37th annual Dress the Turkey contest, presented by the Cincinnati Art Museum – a time-honored tradition for budding artists, political satirists and mega sports fans alike.

– Dress the Turkey deadline is 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, download or submit your bird here –

Here’s how to get your birds officially entered this year. (Did we mention that the winners get MONEY!? Because they do.)

How to enter the 2025 Dress the Turkey contest

Date and rules and stuff

To participate, take a photo of your gobbler (or scan it, if scanners are still a thing) and submit by 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16. Judges will pick a top bird in three age categories: 12 and under, 13-20, and 21 and up, as well as the best overall turkey winner. Winners take home $100 each from The Enquirer.

To be considered valid for the contest, entries must include the following: name, age and specific Greater Cincinnati neighborhood (for example: Westwood, Loveland or Covington – not just “Cincinnati”). Look for winners and many more in The Enquirer on Thanksgiving Eve, Nov. 26, and online at Cincinnati.com.
