BEREA ― The fans get one final time to come to training camp in 2026. The Browns will host them on Day 13 of camp, Aug. 12, before they shift into the preseason game schedule.
The Browns will have a fully-padded practice today as they hold their final full practice ahead of the preseason opener. They’ll fly to Chicago on Aug. 13, ahead of the Aug. 15 preseason lid-lifter against the Bears.
Shedeur Sanders is expected to get the majority of the No. 1 reps during the final practice open to the general public. Coach Todd Monken, though, could reveal whether it will be Sanders or Deshaun Watson who will start the game in the Windy City.

Monken will speak to the media before practice. Whether or not he’ll announce the decision at that time remains to be seen.

Tyus Bowser visits Browns for workout
Former Baltimore Ravens defensive end Tyus Bowser was in Berea for a workout on Aug. 12, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. Bowser, 33, last played in 2024, when he split nine games between the Seattle Seahawks and the Miami Dolphins.
Bowser was originally a second-round pick of the Ravens out of the University of Houston in 2017. He played six seasons for the Ravens before missing all of 2023 due to a knee injury.
Bowser, over 98 career games, has 19.5 sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and 22 tackles for loss. He would provide the Browns with another veteran defensive end, something they’ve been looking for since the offseason.

The Browns will hold their final training camp practice open to the general public today. All practices are scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m., with the gates opening one hour in advance. Practices that are moved inside due to the weather will be closed to the public.
