CANTON − The Stark County Fair will continue its tradition of booking a country music act with Trace Adkins for this summer’s headliner.
Adkins will bring his deep baritone voice and 30th Anniversary Tour to the Ohio Gratings Grandstand on Sept. 3 at the fair, which runs Sept. 1 to 7.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 29 at https://starkcountyfair.com/.
Adkins, 64, has played a big stage in Stark County before.
In 2022, he performed between USFL playoff games at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
The multi-platinum recording artist has released several albums, including his 1996 debut, “Dreamin’ Out Loud.”

Popular songs include “Ladies Love Country Boys,” “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Every Light In the House,” “Just Fishin’,” “Songs About Me,” “Hillbilly Bone,” and “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing.”
Adkins has sold more 11 million albums and charted more than 30 singles. The musician also has received multiple Grammy nominations in addition to winning various awards in the country music industry.
Adkins has collaborated with Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Keb’ Mo’ and Melissa Etheridge.

The musician also was a finalist in 2008 on “The Celebrity Apprentice.”
