A Bucyrus man died Sunday in a one-vehicle wreck.
Constantinos Charles Chavatzas, 20, had been driving northbound on Knauss Road north of Ohio 294 when his vehicle veered off the road, according a report from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
Chavatzas was driving a black 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage that went off the west side of the road and hit a tree about 3:31 p.m. Sunday in western Crawford County.
“The vehicle then came to rest sitting partially on the pavement on the east side of Knauss Road facing north,” the sheriff’s office noted.
The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
Assisting the sheriff’s office were the Bucyrus Fire Department, Dallas Township Fire Department and the Crawford County Coroner’s Office.
Hensley’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
