For the first time since the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup final, the Crew will face CF Pachuca, as the club is one of the three Liga MX teams playing Columbus during the 2026 Leagues Cup group stage.
In the 2024 final, the Crew fell to Pachuca 3-0 while nearly the entire lineup was dealing with food poisoning.
The Crew will host all three of their group-stage games at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, starting with Atlas FC on Aug. 4. The Concacaf rematch against Pachuca is set for Aug. 7, before the Crew close out the group stage facing Pumas UNAM on Aug. 11.
The Crew have never faced Atlas or Pumas.
In the last Leagues Cup, the Crew were eliminated from the tournament in the group stage after just missing out on being one of the four advancing MLS teams on goal differential. The Crew’s plus-three goal differential was two less than the Portland Timbers.
The Crew won the 2024 Leagues Cup title, going through the tournament without facing a Liga MX opponent.
Kickoff for the 2026 Leagues Cup games have yet to be set.
