Chick-fil-A may stay closed on Sundays, but Ohio will soon have no shortage of locations to stop by during the other six days of the week.
The Atlanta-based chain announced Aug. 25 its plans to add up to 30 new locally owned and operated restaurants to Columbus and central Ohio by the end of 2027.
Chick-fil-A Area Director Omar Dione said the restaurant’s growth here aligns with their “remarkable care” model.
“It’s been an honor to serve Ohioans for the past 45 years and we look forward to building on our restaurant company’s legacy in such a strong state,” Dione said in a press release.
Chick-fil-A opened its first Ohio location in Cleveland in 1979. Since then, it has expanded to more than 80 restaurants statewide.
Chick-fil-A’s most recent Ohio location opened in Westerville on April 17 at 680 Polaris Pkwy.
With this new expansion, locals can look forward to new stores in Columbus, Cincinnati, the Cleveland-Akron-Canton area and Dayton, creating up to 3,000 full and part time jobs.
Here’s what to look forward to:
