It’s no surprise that Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett ultimately got paid this offseason.
The respect for Garrett shows up in offseason analyses, which are ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but still – respect.
Pete Prisco gives Garrett all sorts of respect in his list of NFL Top 100 Players of 2025.

How much respect does Garrett get?
Only one player – Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes – rates ahead of him on the top 100 list. The only pass rusher to join him in the top 10 is Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Micah Parsons.
Prisco says of Garrett: “Garrett had 14 sacks to finish second in the league, but his impact was much more obvious than that number. He is an elite game-wrecker as he turns 30 this year.”
Some in the NFL finally understand that Garrett’s impact goes beyond sack numbers as he forces teams to game plan around him as he occupies two – and occasionally three – blockers. That fact alone could be good news for rookie defensive tackle Mason Graham.
No other Cleveland Browns appear on Pete Prisco’s list
Although Garrett gets plenty of respect, the rest of the team’s roster does no. Garrett is the only Browns player to make the list. Not even cornerback Denzel Ward, who continues to play well, makes it.
