A kid from Akron is returning to Cleveland — just not that one.
Larry Nance Jr., a Revere High School graduate, is signing with the Cavaliers, a league source confirmed to the Beacon Journal.
Nance, 32, played with the Cavs over four seasons beginning in 2021. Last year, he appeared in 24 games for the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 51.6% from the floor.
Nance offers the Cavs some additional depth in the paint. Because of Cleveland’s standing in the second apron, its flexibility is limited this summer barring some significant trades.
Nance is the oldest son of Cavs legend Larry Nance Sr.
