The Central Ohio Coon Hunters Association will be hosting its annual Family Day Open House from 12 noon until 5 p.m. June 21. The club is located at 6995 Coonpath Road in Bloom Township.
Guests are invited to explore the club’s 54 acres of woods, a pond and an Indian Mound. Guests may either bring their fishing rods and tackle or borrow the club’s rods and tackle to fish in its “no-licensed required pond” under “catch and release”. The club will supply the bait.
Guests may also shoot on the club’s archery and rifle ranges using the club’s bows and arrows and its rifles and ammunition. Range Safety Officers will instruct guests on how to shoot and will supervise range safety. The club will also provide snacks for its guests. In addition, the Fairfield County Beekeepers Association will have exhibits on beekeeping.
All activities are free with funding being provided through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Conservation Club grant program. Guests will be asked to complete a waiver to participate.

Mountain Bike Event
Chestnut Ridge Metro Park, 5260 Mason Road, Canal Winchester invites cyclists to meet the team and coaches of the Greater Columbus Mountain Bike Team and see what it’s all about. This event is for interested student athletes and coaches.
The team is open to students going into 5th – 12th grade. The team consists of students that attend schools or are home schooled south of I-70 in the area.

Hospital anniversary
Diley Ridge Hospital, 7911 Diley Road, will hold its 15th Anniversary Celebration from 11 am to 2 pm. June 14. This is a free family event featuring food, games, touch-a-truck, music, health education booths and more.
