The clock is ticking down.
The NFL’s trade deadline arrives at 4 p.m. on Nov. 4. That gives the Browns a little under 36 hours to work the phones and see who they could potentially add, or subject, from the roster.
Much of the focus has been on the possible players the Browns could jettison. That’s because of their 2-6 start to the season.
However, there’s been speculation that Cleveland may actually be looking to add players. It did do that with the trade of cornerback Greg Newsome II to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 8, where the Browns received cornerback Tyson Campbell.

Bengals trade Logan Wilson to Cowboys
It’s not the Browns, but the AFC North foe Bengals are making a move. They’ve traded veteran linebacker Logan Wilson to the Dallas Cowboys for a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Browns reportedly looking to buy, not sell, at trade deadline
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Nov. 2 that the Browns are much more “likely to be buyers than sellers” when it comes to the trade deadline. That’s despite their 2-6 record.
Browns have no chance to trade All-Pro DE Myles Garrett
The early portion of the Browns’ Week 9 bye was spent with speculation swirling around All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett, who was visibly frustrated at the end of the Browns’ Week 8 loss at the New England Patriots. Garrett, one may recall, had a public trade demand in February and March. However, it ended with a new four-year contract extension that includes a no-trade clause. The Browns, though, didn’t need that clause to make it clear they have no interest in trading away their superstar defender.
