As the draft approaches, the Cleveland Browns are reportedly exploring all avenues to improve their roster, including a potential triple dip into the first round of the NFL Draft.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Browns are among a small group of teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans, that have held preliminary discussions regarding a move into the late stages of day one. While Fowler notes that some of this could prove to be simple due diligence, the interest remains noteworthy nonetheless for a team looking to solidify its depth.

If the price is right, Cleveland may be eyeing specific talent to bolster its secondary in that late-round range. Two names that have surfaced as potential targets for such a move are safety Emmanuel McNeill-Warren and cornerback Jerrod McCoy.
Securing a spot at the end of the first round would allow the front office to benefit from the added value of a fifth-year option.
Whether these internal discussions evolve into a formal trade remains to be seen, but the Browns are clearly keeping their options open
