A body has been found in the lake at A.J. Jolly Park and Campground, according to Campbell County Chief of Police Craig Patrick Sorrell.
Campbell County police responded Monday morning after park staff reported a capsized fishing boat.
Around 4 p.m., Sorrell says Boone County Water Rescue recovered a body around 4 p.m. believed to be the owner of the boat.
Sorrell says that foul play is not suspected at this time.
Law enforcement will not identify the person pending notification of the family.
Sorrell says parts of the park have been temporarily closed to the public due to the incident.
