The Cincinnati Bengals started the preseason against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, losing 34-27.
There, the Bengals will played Joe Burrow and other starters for part of the first quarter as part of an effort to fix the slow-starting issues that have plagued the Zac Taylor era to date.
Burrow threw a pair of touchdowns before making his exit, giving way to a rough showing from the Cincinnati defense despite some flashes from first-round pick Shemar Stewart.
